please think of it of my perspective, too.
the first race was with 3 drivers in GT1, one of them had a DC.
in the end manu raced against me with a not competive car.
it was a very boring race, but i keep it running because i wanted to keep the class alive.
the second race shows that there are only two interested racers for GT1.
this was not enough stimulus for me to prepare and joining this race.
- i had to do a many other stuff during this time...
now the 3rd race is coming.
there are still only 4 racers in the GT1 class.
manu quited and phil is less in time on friday, too.
so it looks that only huasee and me could be on track in GT1
it makes NO SENSE for me to prepare my CLK for the nordschleife, knowing that there is only one opponent.
further i had to race a long-distance race against only one opponent....
one damage on the long nordschleife and i can quit this race or i have to drive against someone not knowing coming close or loosing time; -because i get only the times to the leader of LMP.
my suggestion to you was to change the class and driving the GT500 Calsonic Impul.
i think huasee is interested in changing car-class, too.
in this class are some more opponents and i have a nearly prepared car.
so i could join the race and filling the grid in GT500
my ambitions to win my class or the championship are not so mighty....
i am hoping for good races with fair drivers, not for winning championships.
i agree, when you say that organisation is not prepared that someone changes his class.
but i think, this is a possible way to save the format with two classes.
- i have no hope that there will come a further racer to GT1
but racedirector have to decide
